Sevai-society is a resistered, Non-Profit, Volutary Organization working for socio-economic, health, cultural an educationaldevelopment of the needly people especially rural masses in the remote villages and other places of madurai district.tamilnadu, Indiasince its inspection, this ideology for achieving equality, justice peace and love among people specifically. the poor and justice irrespective of caste, creed, race and language. Since its inspection, the organization is working among the oppressed poor and empowerment of women and children. The major emphasis of sevai-society its the overall development of the rural poor in the aspects of social economical, cultural, political, spritual development with special efforts to rehablitate handicaped diabetic and vulnerable sections like mother and children ,school dropouts to all the philanthropists, staff volunteers, beneficiaries, participants and others,

Objectives

  • To work to promoe and stengthen the programme and activities for improving the economic social educational and cutural levels of the villagers and Adivasi areas,
  • The work for the integrated welfare of the children and women in rural areas
  • To organize guidance and counseling services for the benefit and indivituals/ instutions engaged in social welfare and constructive programmes
  • To work for the implementation and archivement of social justice and peace in different aspects and fields of social life 5.To work for the improvement of environmental conditions.

  • o create awarness about health care and conduct medical camps and extend financial assistance to the sick, deceased and disabled towards the sick allivation cure and treatement of their airments and sufferings.

  • To eradicate poverty byencouraging self employment oppertunities in the villages.
  • In calculating the hapit of savings and thrift among women and youth by forming self help groups.
  • To promote agriculture by giving modern agriculture methords and small scale industries in rural areas on a co-operative basis.
